The founders of J & T identified that Healthcare providers are looking for diversification and the need of business development service for start-up entities including business planning, marketing and sales are evolving. J & T Medical Management Services was founded as a result of collaboration between two professionals; Dr. Amjad Hammad and Taleb Hammad, who are seasoned and experienced individuals providing business development solutions, consultation, strategic planning and marketing solutions to healthcare industry.
Dr. Amjad is expert in managing the progress of the business and is involved in strategic and tactical planning. Dr. Amjad has an immense medical education background; he graduated from University of Jordan Medical School in 1993. He completed his Ophthalmology Residency at Albany Medical Center and extended his specialty with a Vitreo-retinal Fellowship at Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is certified in Ophthalmology by the American Board and Jordanian Board.
Dr. Amjad started his professional career in a group practice in Albany, New York. After that, he opened his private practice in Saratoga Springs, New York in 2007. He completed his Masters of Business Management at Yale School of Management and furthers the education as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Albany Medical College. Prior to establishing J & T, Dr. Amjad worked as Adjunct Professor of Business School of Management at Union Graduate College.
Mr. Taleb has strong business development acumen with sales and marketing skills. He has vast experience in marketing and sales at leading organizations such as, Bristol Myers Squibb, Abbott , and Wyeth. He also has hands on experience in training and consultation with several areas of the business for Acelity and Roche diagnostics.
He has attended over 38 training courses in Business Development and soft skills with Mentor-Me, which is an affiliate to Harvard Business School. Being a trainer, he has given over 21 training courses in sales & marketing and trained more than 1000 trainees. Along with these achievements, he is an influential speaker and has conducted various conferences as a keynote speaker.
